THE AUTHENTICITY
Đoan & Hiếu met at just the right time, when both found true peace in being themselves together. One with the depth to truly listen, the other with the sincerity to truly understand. Their love was celebrated in an intimate wedding on a warm November afternoon.
The bow - a motif that has accompanied Đoan from childhood to adulthood, became the central symbol of the wedding.
It reflected the bride’s gentle, feminine spirit, while also embodying the phrase “tie the knot” – a timeless reminder of bonds.
What made the wedding especially meaningful was the way the couple wove in the values they hold dear. Hiếu, the groom, is the founder of Hear.Us.Now, a community project for the hearing-impaired. In honor of this, the couple invited each guest to bring a book instead of the traditional envelope, with all the books later donated to a library for hearing-impaired children in Ho Chi Minh City.
Adding to that, the wedding’s light bites were lovingly prepared by young members of the deaf community, a heartfelt gesture of companionship, spreading love and sharing joy on such a special day.
THE DETAILS & THE MOMENTS
“Wait for the wine to ripen before you have a sip, wait for love to bloom before you dive in” became a quiet thread running through the entire celebration. That was why wine became a special symbol of their celebration. Instead of a traditional guestbook, a wine bottle was used to hold signatures and blessings from the guests. Wine was also chosen as a gift for their parents, symbolizing a promise for future milestones in Đoan & Hiếu’s love story.
Sustainability was also a priority in the design: from using potted flowers instead of cut stems, to the thoughtful gesture of giving the flowers to guests after the celebration. Every choice was made not only for its beauty in the moment, but also for its lasting value.
Amidst the warm atmosphere, the wedding unfolded with simple yet heartfelt activites. Conversations around the dinner tables lingered, lighthearted games created moments of connection, spreading joy and sending wishes of hope for the journey ahead of Đoan & Hiếu.
